Music Shops and Distributors

case-study

Ford Shackcloth from The Music Dept. introduced Safepay to the MIA.

The Music Dept is an independent musical instrument store that has been operating in the centre of St Albans for over forty five years.

They offer a wide range of instruments, focusing on pianos, guitars and bass for musicians of any level, as well as services such as repairs and hire.

Ford loved the service we provided to him and was kind enough to write the review below:

“You should treat your card payment services like you do your car insurance, you need to check on your deal every couple of years at the very least. I got a good initial package from my last provider, but it slowly crept up and was guilty of just letting it slide. Lets be honest it can be a minefield, and there is always something else you can be doing.

After talking to David from Safepay, it was a very simple decision:

The fees were around 30% cheaper
The service level was so much better
We took the next day payments option
The PCI was a dream, so simple via the Dojo app

We made the decision to switch just before Christmas, which might seem like a crazy idea, but I wanted to take advantage of the lower fees as soon as possible. As it happens I shouldn’t have worried, the machine arrived the next day and David appeared in the shop to set us up and we were up and running. It really has been that easy.”

Safepay has connected with some of the best in UK hospitality.
